In essence, LS science at WASNJ is an early incubation of academic capability. Observing the form and behaviour of the orchid mantis lays the groundwork for the secondary biology topic structure and function in living organisms. Field visits to water-treatment facilities strengthen understanding of changes of state in chemistry. Using AI tools to investigate planetary data trains the academic habit of information screening and cross-verification required in secondary research tasks.

Do you still remember the street interview a few weeks ago, when students eagerly told us who they thought deserved to be named a Dove Scholar? Now, after more than a month of applications, rigorous evaluations and in-depth interviews, 19 outstanding WAS Nanjing students have been selected from many applicants – marking the official launch of the very first cohort of Dove Scholars!
Opening in September 2028, Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore) will be a K–12 co-educational day school, designed to cater to the individual strengths and aspirations of each student, underpinned by a strong belief that “Every Child Can Excel”. The campus will be situated on a prime site along Hougang Avenue 3, approximately 20 minutes’ drive from both the Central Business District and Changi Airport, offering convenient access for Singapore’s diverse international community.
WAS Nanjing warmly welcomed the first visit of the academic year from its UK sister school, Wycombe Abbey in the UK. The visiting delegation, including, Mr Nick Woods, Deputy Head (Strategy and Operations), and Ms Claire Leong, Director of Global Engagement, who spent two days on campus observing lessons and ECA sessions across the Junior and Senior Schools, engaging warmly with pupils and staff.
