The John Locke Official Summer School will launch in China in July 2025, partnering with BE Education—founder of Wycombe Abbey Schools Asia. The programme will be hosted at Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing, with curriculum and faculty entirely provided by the John Locke Institute to ensure exceptional quality.

Last week, 49 students and eight teachers from WAS Changzhou, Hangzhou, and Nanjing embarked on an unforgettable skiing trip to Beidahu, filled with adventure, cultural experiences, and personal growth. This journey was not just a recreational trip, but a valuable educational experience. It allowed students to grow through the joy of skiing and provided rich cultural experiences that helped broaden their horizons and sharpen their minds, leaving them with lasting memories that transcend mountains and seas.
At Wycombe Abbey, every primary and secondary school teacher holds a “dual identity”—they are both subject teachers and boarding tutors. We don’t have a separate boarding team; the teaching staff directly manages boarding life. This is the fundamental reason why we say that boarding at Wycombe Abbey is an integral part of education.
The 2024 Winter Fair, for which all proceeds are generously donated to the Wycombe Abbey Charity Foundation, successfully concluded on Saturday, 14th December.
Our inaugural graduating class has secured seven offers, a testament to the diverse and comprehensive education at WASNJ. These offers span Australia, the United States, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, and cover a wide range of subjects, including business administration, hotel management, psychology and business, music production, and piano performance.
